Mardi Gras Bash

The SSMS PTA will host a Mardi Gras Bash on February 10th 4-6pm. There will be a DJ, raffle prizes for iTune gift cards, items available for purchase including  candy, pretzels, cupcakes, soda, and much more. Tickets will be on sale on February 6th-10th in the cafeteria for $5.00.

Pre sale is going on now, so capture the moment and don't miss out. For only $35, make your year a super splash and reserve your copy today. Currently, the first 100 students to surf the presale will also have their quote and an added photo. All presale purchases will also include additional signing pages. Personal and Business ads are also available to capture your student setting sail.

SSMS Banner Sales

Sponsorship Banners are available to purchase for $400.00.  If you have a business or know a business owner who would like to purchase one, the forms are available in the front office.  All proceeds will help to support the Music and the Athletic Department.

Silence Hurts

In light of some of the safety concerns that have happened, we would like to reemphasize some of the programs available to the community and students to prevent violence from happening. Broward County Public Schools has a program through the Special Investigations Unit called "Silence Hurts."

The focus of the Silence Hurts programs is that students, teachers, and parents can all make a difference by letting us know when or where a problem will occur.

The anonymous tip line is (754-321-0911), the Web site is (www.broward.k12.fl.us/siu/tips), E-mail address (school911@browardschools.com) and by texting 'SBBC' plus the message to CRIMES (274637). Tips are received immediately by the District's Special Investigative Unit/Professional Standards Department, staffed seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Names and contact information remain confidential.
